Lovers Drink Special

Inspired by the DNA LoungeLovers Special

In a rocks glass, add ice and the following:

  • 1 ½ oz raspberry vodka
  • 1½ oz sour mix
  • 1 oz cranberry juice

Stir and enjoy with your Valentine.

Their version included soda also, but we omitted it.

The Vodka Quickie

Vodka QuickieSunday night I created a new drink, if you can call it that.  We picked up a bottle of Hpnotiq liqueur in a gift pack over the holidays, and opened it up this weekend.  We mixed up a couple drinks from the recipe card with it, and then I decided to try and pair it with the X Rated Fusion liqueur, because what better to mix a vodka liqueur with, than another vodka liqueur?
The result was pretty satisfying, both in taste an appearance.  After shaking, it gets a purple cotton candy like color that I couldn’t do justice to in the picture (how not to photograph food, step one…)  The fruity flavorings pair nicely.  I guess you could consider this a chick drink, but a couple of them are pretty potent.

The Vodka Quickie

  • 1 oz Hpnotiq liqueur
  • 1 oz X-Rated Fusion liquer

shake with ice and strain into a glass
